I was alone wandering through chambers neglected for over 500 years. Mrauk U has hundreds, perhaps thousands, of these temples. While not Pagan, the fact that they are still mostly buried, have been neglected for over 500 years, have people to this minute living amidst and among them, and that you can go to them alone and stay that way, that was the most amazing thing, the best part of the trip. I would name Myanmar: “Land of a million Buddhas.”
